It’s been a joy working with this terrific group of mathematicians these past couple weeks! We’ve just finished the first unit of Everyday Mathematics, and the graded unit 1 test was sent home Today. As part of their homework, students should complete error corrections. Please look over their error corrections, sign, and return to school. A parent letter for unit 2, along with the answers to the study links homework, will be coming home this week for you. Thank you for encouraging your child to practice the skills listed on the September IXL calendar. It’s been great getting updates from IXL, showing the progress our students are making on their math skills! Here is a link to Quizlet, where your students can practice geometry vocabulary at home; This will be introduced to our class tomorrow, September 26th. It is a fun way to practice math skills. https://quizlet.com/96952415/4th-grade-geometry-flash-cards/ We look forward to meeting you at our 4th grade Curriculum Night on October 5, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Parents will have the opportunity to meet with both homeroom and math teachers. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Warm regards, Paige Bryant |
