Mrs. Anderson & Mrs. Eidem's 4th Grade Class
Fourth grade is an exciting year of learning and growing together! Our homeroom is like a family. Our goal is that each and every student feels welcome, cared for, safe, and empowered to learn and succeed. We value treating others with kindness and respect. We have been teaching fourth grade together for eight years and consider it a privilege to work with such amazing students and families. We are lucky to share our love, passion and excitement for learning in a team approach.
Students begin each day in our homeroom with our morning meeting and announcements, and then switch classes for math. During our homeroom time we engage in a variety of activities, including literacy, read-alouds, writing pieces, cursive writing practice, and our social skills curriculum entitled "Second Step." Topics include understanding emotions, empathy, conflict resolution, and calming techniques.
CONTACT INFORMATION
If at any time you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us to set up a conference, either in person or over the phone. We will try to respond to your message within one day. We always encourage our students to talk to us or write us a note, when possible, if something is on their mind rather than parents communicating for them. We are trying to build up their confidence and communication skills. Thank you for helping us develop these life long skills!
