- There is no formally assigned homework for math. It is expected that students write down the Math lesson we covered in class in their planners, as well as bring home their Study Links math book each night. Please practice the skills in the Study Links books as your family sees fit. Students also have an IXL calendar which allows them to practice skills covered in class. Visit www.ixl.com/math/
- Basic math facts should be practiced each day for 5-10 minutes (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Here is a website for our Everyday Mathematics curriculum, which parents can use as a resource at home. Study Link (homework) sheets can be accessed from this site to print from home (in case your child lost or misplaced his/her homework) http://everydaymath.uchicago.edu/parents/4th-grade/em-at-home/ For help understanding the algorithms/methods of computation, visit https://www.everydaymathonline.com/free_resources_main.html?frnologin=1&PHPSESSID=5f88be61521ad40c65246ad42f3f99e6

Click on the link for Student/Family. (This website works best using Mozilla Firefox as your web browser.) Once on that page, click On-Line Student Samplers. Sign in as a guest and choose your child's grade level math test (Gr 4 Math MCA Item Sampler). Once you log in you will get a message that you can't use text-to-speech because of not having a secure browser. Your child can still work through the sampler, to become familiar with the on-line format of this test.
